On November 23rd, 2022, The Conduit in partnership with Conduit Connect and Four Points Health hosted an impactful Mental Health Breakfast bringing together key stakeholders to explore innovation challenges and opportunities in mental health research and care. This collaborative event with MQ Mental Health Research Charity featured a distinguished panel of experts representing diverse perspectives across the mental health ecosystem.

The discussion was expertly moderated by Aahuti Rai, a digital and mental health care investor who guided conversations around critical themes including research gaps, startup challenges, and scaling adoption of mental health innovations. The panel included innovative leaders like Andy Chambers from Syndi Health, who brings both commercial expertise and personal advocacy through his work with Dads in Mind and Talk Club, and Arden Tomlison, Founder and CEO of Thalamos, whose platform streamlines acute mental healthcare pathways.

Clinical insights came from Dr. Lia Ali, a consultant psychiatrist and Chief Safety Officer at Thalamos with extensive digital health strategy experience. The patient perspective was powerfully represented by Amazin LeThi, an LGBTQ advocate and cultural change leader, while Lea Mulligan, CEO of MQ Mental Health, provided the research and charity viewpoint on funding breakthrough mental health research.
